And the modern showroom, with its covered terrace right by the pond, offers a classic-modern ambiance for dinner and celebration. Now comes the part almost no one sees \u2014 and the part that determines whether things run smoothly or fall into chaos. The Enea Tree Museum is rented out empty and unstaffed. That means: on your wedding day, no one from the venue is on site, there's no furniture, and no one handles technical setup, teardown, or breakdown. That takes an enormous amount of coordination, involving many different trades, precise timing, and a great deal of experience. But for you as a couple, this also means absolute creative freedom. Nothing is prescribed \u2014 anything is possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And the Next Day, Everything Has to Disappear Again<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Something many people underestimate: the day after the wedding, everything has to be cleared out again. The entire setup \u2014 furniture, equipment, lighting, d\u00e9cor \u2014 is dismantled and hauled away at the end of the celebration and the following day, so the venue can be handed back in pristine condition. This teardown logistics is an operation in its own right and needs to be part of the planning from day one, so no one ends up drowning in stress at the end.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Occasionally Long Distances<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The park is large and beautiful \u2014 and that comes with occasionally long distances to cover. Where are the kitchen and bar located? How does the food get to the table? How do guests move between the ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner? These routes need to be thought through in advance so the flow works and the food is still served at its best. The potential of this venue is best illustrated through real examples. I recently had the chance to design two very different weddings here \u2014 both dreamlike, but completely different in style.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Green and White, All Natural<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The first wedding was done entirely in green and white, very natural throughout \u2014 a look that blended perfectly with the surroundings. The ceremony took place in front of the orangery, after which we celebrated the cocktail hour on the piazza with around 160 guests. We then moved into the showroom: on the terrace, we set three long tables, while inside, a bar with cozy lounge seating and a live band kept the mood going. The meal was served family-style \u2014 a sharing format that brought guests together and created a wonderfully relaxed, connective atmosphere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Canopy of Lights and Food Stalls in the All\u00e9e<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The second wedding embraced an entirely different kind of magic. The centerpiece was the beautiful all\u00e9e, where we set up a long table for around 90 guests, spanned by a sparkling canopy of lights. The food took guests around the world: food stalls offered specialties from Asia, Mexico, the Americas, and India. The ceremony took place in the orangery with about 30 guests, and the cocktail hour was held on the piazza with a bar and plenty of lounge seating. Later in the evening, that same area transformed into the party zone: the DJ played in the orangery, complete with lighting effects and a dance floor at its center, while guests could grab cocktails and drinks on the piazza behind and let the evening wind down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Because the Enea Tree Museum relies so heavily on its park and outdoor spaces, the season plays a bigger role here than it would at a traditional banquet hall. The venue is at its most magical during the warmer months \u2014 roughly from May to September.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In early summer, the park is lush and green, the trees are in full leaf, and the long, mild evenings are perfect for an outdoor ceremony and a dinner in the all\u00e9e.
