It was a deliberately intimate celebration with around 30 guests – and that is precisely what made it so special. The wedding day started very relaxed. While the bride got ready for the big moment together with her girls in her room – with champagne, good music, and lots of anticipation – the guys enjoyed the peace and quiet in the hotel's spa. A getting ready of a particularly pleasant kind, on both sides.
Guests were warmly welcomed upon arrival: a chocolate cow awaited them in each room, accompanied by a personal letter from the bride and groom. Such small gestures immediately create a sense of closeness and set the mood for what is to come. The emotional highlight before the ceremony was the first look on the large terrace, with the breathtaking view over Lake Lucerne as a backdrop.

A four-course meal was served that left nothing to be desired:
- Cured char fillet – Horseradish, green asparagus, pea sprouts
- Homemade tortellini – Wild mushrooms, brown butter, chervil
- Gentle-cooked Swiss Prime Beef tenderloin - Potato gratin, dill carrots, maple syrup
- Lemon tart & meringue - Raspberries
Each course was a moment of culinary delight in itself – and the long table ensured that all guests felt like part of a large, festive banquet.
Music and party into the night
Musically, this day was a celebration in its own right. A string quartet accompanied the ceremony, aperitif, and dinner—not in a classically well-behaved manner, but with modern pieces, such as from the Bridgerton universe and by Taylor Swift. This combination of elegance and modernity hit the exact tone of the couple.
In the evening, we then moved to the Spycher at Bürgenstock for the party. The Spycher is a charming room in a traditional alpine style with lots of warm wood – rustic and cozy, but with a certain je ne sais quoi. Exactly this contrast to the elegant dinner at RitzCoffier made it so appealing: from the fine menu in a glamorous setting over to a homely chalet atmosphere where you can celebrate exuberantly deep into the night. There, the live band heated things up Maxin right in and made the dance floor rock. Another highlight of the evening was also the cake cut – the ceremonial cutting of the wedding cake, before the exuberant celebration continued.

The journey by ship and funicular is wonderful—and a logistical challenge. Timetables, potential extra trips, overnight guests' luggage: all of this needs to be planned early on so that the emotional prelude does not become a point of stress. Especially with international guests, it is worth scheduling the trip up the mountain precisely.
